We have volunteers who are ready to tackle our collections to research and find the answers you want…and maybe something unexpected!
Do your own research
You can visit our rooms during opening hours to explore our collections at your leisure. But there is always a researcher nearby if you need help
Visiting fees for non-members are
- $5.00 per name enquiry or look up
- $10.00 per hour for use of computers research help etc
- $20.00 per hour with a research officer or DNA consultant
- 50 cents per sheet for copying or printing
Engage us to do research
If you cannot visit us or need more help? You can engage us to do the research for you. Just tell us what you want to know and how much time to spend looking for answers.
The minimum fee covers 2 hours of research:
- $40.00 for Australian residents
- $45.00 for overseas residents.
The fees for more research hours are:
- $20.00 per hour for research
- 50 cents per sheet for copying or printing.
We will send our research to you by email unless your prefer paper copies.
Payment must be in Australian dollars and made before research will begin. The form includes bank details for payment.
