Monthly Talks
Gympie Family History Society is open most Saturdays and once a month we invite someone to present a topic of importance to all researchers on both the local district and state, and anywhere in the world their ancestors have hailed from, and the records those areas might hold.
Talks and discussions will be around 45 to 60 mins, with questions and answers afterwards.
Tea and coffee will be provided, so come for the talk, and stay for a chat, on the presented subject, or anything family history and or Gympie related.

This Group seeks to share information on aspects of genetic family history
Which DNA Company is best for me? What do I do with my DNA matches? How do I find my parents through DNA? There are many questions that we discuss at our DNA group. You never know where it takes you till you start looking. We discuss our family trees, encourage each other through support, there is lots to learn through discussion. How we each document the Family tree, how to colour code the matches. support and collaboration at each step of the genetic genealogy experience.
Tea and coffee are provided, so come for the group, and stay for a chat, on this subject, or anything family history and or Gympie related.

GFHS Interest Groups
The Gympie Family History Society is a continually evolving group of likeminded people with interests revolving mostly around Gympie, its surrounds, and of course the families that have and are integrated with in it.
As such, the society has been gathering, collating, and indexing Gympie regional history since it began, and so have been researching Gympie families for over 25 years.
The depth of Interest Groups over the years that have been instigated and started have been many, so if you have an interest pertaining to anything historically, family, or regionally orientated, please do not hesitate to give us a call or pop in for a chat with the society members.
Tea and coffee is available, so come for the visit, and stay for a chat, on anything family history and or Gympie related.
