Cemetery Crawl – Saturday, 26th October 2024
The Cemetery Crawl will be about the Presbyterian Section of the Gympie Cemetery (Two Mile
Cemetery). You will hear an abbreviated talk of the stories behind some of the interred
in this section. At the end of the talk, you will receive a booklet with the full story of
those spoken about during the talk.

Cemetery Crawls – Gympie Family History Society will present an educational cemetery crawl, either on location (a particular cemetery) or virtual (at the society rooms), either as a day or night event, usually focusing on five to ten individual grave sites or tombstones. People who have lived and worked, and born, in the Gympie and Wide Bay areas, from the earliest period of the region, through to more current notable local personalities.
For these Cemetery Crawls a small Cost is usually asked. Talks are around 60 mins, with questions and hopefully answers afterwards. Tea and coffee are provided. So come for the talk, and stay for a chat, on this subject, or any Gympie region related family history.
